A video of the training was published on NATO’s official YouTube account.
As part of the agreement, Danish instructors at Skrydstrup Air Base are training Ukrainian pilots in flying the F-16. Additionally, the technical staff responsible for maintaining the aircraft at the airfields and preparing them for flights also undergo training and exercises, alongside the pilots themselves.

A Ukrainian pilot, known by the call sign Moonfish, shared his impressions of the aircraft and evaluated their flight capabilities.
He noted that the aircraft exhibits excellent handling and is equipped with a powerful engine, enabling it to execute swift maneuvers.
Reminding that a coalition of NATO Allies, including Belgium, Denmark, the Netherlands, and Norway, has agreed to donate their F-16s to the Ukrainian Air Force.
Earlier Defense Express reported that the decision by the Council of Ministers of Belgium to transfer the first F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine in 2024. Additionally, the Danish government announced the transfer of F-16 fighter jets in the summer of 2024.
