During the night of November 10, Ukraine's Special Operations Forces successfully struck the Hvardiyska oil depot located in the settlement of Karierne, Sakskyi district, in the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea. The operation was officially confirmed by the SOF, who reported precise hits on a pumping station within the oil facility.
The Hvardiyska oil depot is a key element of the fuel and logistics infrastructure used by russian forces in Crimea. Its facilities are vital for maintaining the supply of fuel to military units, vehicles, and other logistical assets of the russian army stationed across the peninsula.

By targeting this site, Ukrainian SOF disrupted a critical link in the enemy's supply chain. The destruction of the pumping station may cause significant logistical difficulties, hindering the ability of russian forces to maintain stable fuel distribution for both frontline and support operations.
The operation also highlights the increasing reach and precision of Ukrainian special operations units. Drone strikes deep within temporarily occupied territory have become a cornerstone of Ukraine's asymmetric strategy, focusing on weakening the enemy's operational capabilities rather than direct confrontation.
According to the statement, the Special Operations Forces "continue asymmetric actions aimed at the total exhaustion of the enemy's ability to conduct offensive operations".
As Defense Express previously reported, in one recent operation, Ukrainian sappers of the 5th Border Detachment successfully neutralized russian Shahed drone that had been equipped not only with a 50-kilogram warhead but also with two additional anti-tank mines.
