According to Colonel Yuriy Ignat, speaker of the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, at the beginning of June, Ukraine lost one aircraft on the frontlines, not 20 as claimed by russia.
He states that russia falsely claims to destroy 20 Ukrainian aircraft each month. However, this month, the occupiers managed to shoot down only one aircraft.

The aviation is carrying out missions from dozens of operational airfields and the results of their combat operations have been quite successful.
“The enemy, understandably, is “burning”. Over the past two weeks, the enemy has repeatedly attempted to attack airfields. This includes Kropyvnytskyi, Dnipro (with Kh-22 missile attacks) and Starokostiantyniv,” Colonel Yuriy Ignat said.
He added that the Air Force is well aware of russia’s desire to destroy weapons and aircraft in Ukraine. Ignat mentioned that the aviation assets have been dispersed, with aircraft hidden, and they continue to carry out missions, conducting dozens of combat sorties daily.
