According to Prystayko, Britain's assistance works in several ways.
"If we're talking about military training, we asked for one amount, and now Britain is offering to increase it 2.5 times this year. That is, we can say that it is +250%. Some of the weapons we requested, such as aircraft, are difficult to come by. We are looking for options," the ambassador explained Radio Liberty.

Prystayko added that Ukraine had requested 14 Challenger 2 tanks from the UK, but after President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's visit, it turned out that the number would double.
As Defense Express reported, On January 2023 Ukrainian tank crews have already arrived in the United Kingdom to start training on the Challenger 2 tanks.
Earlier British media assessed that four tanks out of the totality of 14 promised to Ukraine will be used for practice and training of the Ukrainians. The rest of the tanks is expected to come later.
As a reminder, the Challenger 2 main battle tank is a peculiar weapon to learn. In particular, it is a rather heavy vehicle with a combat mass of 75 tons when equipped with additional armor modules which makes it one of the heaviest tanks. For comparison, Ukrainians use T-72 and T-84 tanks with a weight of 41-48 tons.
