The MISTA Sp. z.o.o., a Polish defense development and production enterprise, has stepped up with several initiatives aimed at expanding military-industrial cooperation between Ukraine and the EU/NATO countries.
In more detail, MISTA offers potential partners among Ukrainian private defense companies to take part in building the new security architecture across the Central and Eastern Europe, and the Baltic states. This framework would take into account the real capabilities and potential of weapon and military equipment manufacturers in the region.

The Polish company, relying on its vast experience in working with local ecosystem, offers its assistance in the integration of Ukrainian actors into the NATO defense industry. Particularly, by deepening and intensifying technical and technological cooperation and by joint implementation of innovative solutions with leading manufacturers of weapons and military equipment in Poland and the Baltic countries.

MISTA is also confident that its expertise will be useful in scaling up production of Ukrainian defense companies in Poland, facilitating and simplifying the entry of high-tech innovative products of Polish design into the Ukrainian market and vice versa — by helping introduce Ukrainian battle-proven solutions into projects by Polish manufacturers.

In addition, the Polish company offers assistance to Ukrainian partners in matters of international legal support and representing their interests in Poland, in establishing interaction with Polish associations of defense product manufacturers.
MISTA is ready to provide part of its own industrial facilities to deploy licensed production of Ukrainian products, help with their certification according to NATO standards and further implementation in the EU, Middle East, and Central Asian markets. Financial support in relocating the equipment and personnel to Mista's industrial site in Eastern Poland is included.

Mista's status as a company already with a hefty portfolio of projects and an already deep integration with the European military-industrial ecosystem may actually be highly beneficial to potential partners from Ukraine. Especially since it participates in supplying weapons and equipment to the Ukrainian Defense Forces
MISTA is confident that deepening ties with the Ukrainian private sector will boost the quantitative expansion of military production for the needs of the Ukrainian Defense Forces. This sort of scaling has been identified by Ukraine's top military and political leadership as the priority vector of the country's defense development. Furthermore, it will help ensure safe working conditions for Ukrainian enterprises in the face of increasing russian attacks.

This confidence stems from MISTA's significant practical experience in organizing and implementing international industrial cooperation, specifically in the fields of development, production, repair, and modernization of ground-based military vehicles, military robotic systems, various control systems, weapons, and solutions for protecting ground equipment from a wide range of tactical-level aerial threats.
For instance, joint projects are being implemented with specialized enterprises from Lithuania, Luxembourg, Spain, Italy, Slovakia, Germany, Estonia, the United Kingdom, and the United States. MISTA is also actively developing cooperation with other Polish defense actors and state institutions — all those who make sure NATO's eastern flank remains strong.

Over the past 4 years, MISTA and partners from Ukraine have implemented the following projects:
- production and supply of hundreds of armored vehicles to Ukraine;
- supply of spare parts, components, and assemblies for Western-made equipment;
- modernization of many Ukrainian armored personnel carriers;
- development, production, of special-purpose armored combat vehicles with formal codification in the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and the provision of NSN;
- creation of ground robotic systems;
- creation of weapon stations with armaments in 30mm, 14.5mm, and 12.7mm calibers.
It's worth noting that MISTA's forte, with an exceptional amount of experience and competence, is the effective lobbying and marketing of products and services of Ukrainian partners in Western Europe and the Baltics, the Middle East, and Central Asia. Many of those offers were guided every step of the way until reaching the pre-contractual stage within a short timespan.
The recent intensification of military-industrial cooperation between Ukraine and Poland should logically extend into the operations of private-sector enterprises from of both Ukraine and the EU/NATO countries, and MISTA can be an effective partner and guide for Ukrainian colleagues.
