Ukrainian resistance forces launched a surprise attack on the outskirts of the temporarily occupied city of Melitopol on December 1, 2023, the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine reported.
The raid at lunchtime resulted in the destruction of several russian occupiers and the disabling of an enemy fuel tanker.

The strike, carried out by Ukrainian partisans, took place on Bohdan Khmelnytskyi Avenue, a spot frequented by occupying forces for their breaks.
In the aftermath of this successful resistance operation, which eliminated invaders and damaged their military equipment, the russian occupation administration in Melitopol is scrambling to conceal the attack’s consequences, fearing retribution from the Kremlin’s security services.
