On the morning of August 24th, in the temporarily occupied Crimea, specifically near the Tarkhankut Peninsula, there were explosions and locals claimed to have seen two inflatable boats carrying 10 unidentified individuals along the shoreline. Russian propaganda channels conveyed this information with a sense of panic, announcing the implementation of the Fortress plan in the region.

Andrii Yusov, a representative of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine, confirmed in a statement to Suspilne that a special operation took place in the temporarily occupied Crimea involving military intelligence and the naval fleet.

A battle took place near the settlement of Mayak, involving watercraft and aviation, with a direct landing on the territory of Crimea. “The set objectives have been accomplished, and there are no personnel casualties,” Andrii Yusov noted.

The representative stated that the special operation is still in progress, and its details are not being disclosed for understandable reasons. He highlighted that the enemy has already suffered losses in both personnel and equipment, with further clarification of these details underway.

It should be noted that is not the first successful operation carried out by the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine in this region over the past few days. The area houses the russian 3rd Radio Technical Regiment base (a component of the so-called russian Aerospace Forces), equipped with radar systems like Nebo-M and Kasta-2E2.

Indeed, yesterday in the locality of Olenivka, which is close to the same settlement of Mayak where the morning landing occurred today, a launch pad of a rare S-400 anti-aircraft missile system was destroyed.

Recently, the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine also showcased an incident involving the repelling of an attack by Su-30 aircraft near the Boyko towers. It’s worth noting that, similarly to the situation with the destroyed S-400, a mysterious stealth drone was observed during these events. This drone, it seems, possesses the capability to effectively operate amidst a complex enemy environment of detection and elimination of aerial targets.
