​The Defense Forces of Ukraine Attacked Over 54,000 russian Targets with Drones in December – CinC Syrskyi

In December 2024, the Defense Forces of Ukraine hit more than 54,000 enemy targets with drones. Kamikaze drones accounted for nearly half of the result

This was reported by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi.

According to Syrskyi, the use of unmanned systems is increasing at the front. russians have increased the number of attack UAVs that pose a threat to military equipment.

The Defense Forces of Ukraine have also begun to actively use fiber-optic FPV drones, which expands their ability to engage and destroy russian military equipment and personnel.

It is known that in December, the operators of the Unmanned Systems Forces hit more than 54,000 occupiers' targets. Kamikaze drones accounted for 49% of them.

According to Syrskyi, the best results were demonstrated by the units of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the 46th Separate Airmobile Brigade, the 57th Motorized Brigade, the 28th Mechanized Brigade, the 35th Separate Marine Brigade and the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade.

Earlier Defense Express reported that Ukrainian Forces had repeled night assaults in the Kupiansk direction, halting 13 russian armored vehicles.
