On November 10, 2022, the US Department of Defense announced a new 25th package of military aid to Ukraine. The total cost is 400 million dollars.
The most important news is that for the first time, the USA is handing over to Ukraine four Avenger short-range air defense systems and a supply of Stinger missiles for them. Such assistance will significantly strengthen the capabilities of the Defense Forces of Ukraine, in particular, in protecting critical infrastructure from attacks by Shaheds or subsonic cruise missiles. The US is also transferring additional anti-aircraft missiles to the MIM-23 Hawk complex.

There is an item in the nomenclature of this military aid package that looks quite unremarkable. But it will also be of great importance for the further course of the battles. The White House supplies Ukraine with demolition equipment for obstacle clearing. Such obstacles as russian "Wagner line", for example.
And it seems that here the Pentagon hints at the transfer of a new batch of remote demining systems M58 MICLIC (Mine Clearing Line Charge), in some way an analogue of the Soviet UR-77 system. The first M58 MICLIC have already been spot in Ukraine.
The White House is also giving Ukraine, in particular, additional guided missiles for the M142 HIMARS and M270 systems, 500 high-precision 155mm Excalibur projectiles and 10,000 120mm mortar rounds.
Along with it, weapons and ammunition are about to be sent, which should directly strengthen Ukraine’s infantry units. In the new package the Americans give 100 HMMWVs, 400 grenade launchers, an unspecified amount of small arms and as many as 20 million rounds of them, and an unspecified amount of equipment for the winter period.
The nomenclature of such a package of military aid can be called "standard" and one that meets the current needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. But what is more interesting here is the context in which the White House announced the allocation of such an aid package.
In the last week, there were fears that the West might start to force Ukraine to go to negotiations with russia. Especially against the background of the fact that the Kremlin announced the decision to flee from Kherson.
But here the White House made it clear by means of the Pentagon that support for Ukraine will continue until Ukraine’s army drives russians out. And this morning, on November 11, 2022, US President Joseph Biden said this personally: "I don't think the conflict will be resolved until Putin leaves Ukraine."
