Volodymyr Fityo, head of the public relations service of the Ground Forces Command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, announced this on the broadcast of Ukriane’s United News telethon.
"The enemy is now shifting its assault units to the Kupiansk direction in order to intensify assault operations. After all, the bet is more on the human factor than on technology," he said.

Fityo noted that the russian occupiers are active in the entire area of responsibility of the Khortytsia operational-strategic group of troops. In total, seven enemy attacks were repelled in the Kupiansk-Lyman direction last day.
"The enemy is trying to capture, for example, Sinkivka, in order to organize a springboard for an attack on the city of Kupiansk in the future. Fighting is also ongoing near Teren, Vesely," he said.
In addition, the enemy actively uses aircraft: 17 airstrikes in the past day in this direction. The enemy also used 16 kamikaze drones and fired 477 artillery and mortar rounds.
"Our defenders managed to reduce the number of russian occupiers on Ukrainian soil by 224 people, destroy 23 pieces of equipment, including one tank as well as three combat armored vehicles," Fityo noted.
