Fighters of the Russian Volunteer Corps fired at the occupiers, who wanted to gain a foothold in the city of Vovchansk, from a captured BTR-82A armoured personnel carrier.
This was reported on official Telegram channel of the RVC. The battle took place in the area of Vovchansk meat processing plant. The APC was moving through the streets at the outskirts of the city.

The published footage shows Russian volunteers firing a 30mm gun from the APC in the direction of invaders.
"BTR-82A of RVC`s armored group fires at the enemy that is trying to gain a foothold in meat processing plant and one of the outskirts streets of Vovchansk," the statement reads.
Earlier in the spring, on March 16, the RVC armored group had already used this APC to shell enemy positions near the Graivoron checkpoint at the russia–Ukraine border.
"We thank to the Ministry of Defense of the russian federation for giving us the BTR-82A on May 22, 2023. Now it has come home!" - the RVC reported.
Earlier Defense Express reported that russian troops had deployed modernized T-62M tanks in northern Kharkiv Oblast.
