Satellite images show that russians are in no hurry to repair their Askold missile corvette

Satellite images, published by OSINT analyst MT Anderson on X social network, show that russian occupiers have not yet repaired Askold small missile corvette. It was damaged during Ukrainian attack against russian ships in temporarily occupied Kerch, Crimea on November 4, 2023.

Thus, no changes in condition of russian corvette are visible, comparing satellite images of December 2, 2023, and January 30, 2024. And it seems that for some reason russians are in no hurry to repair it.

Karakurt-class Askold missile corvette of Project 22800 was severely damaged by the Defense Forces of Ukraine before russians could test it. The ship remained afloat, but sustained critical damage. The superstructure along with radar, central part of the ship as well as cruise missile launchers were damaged.

Earlier Defense Express reported that russia had replaced destroyed Askold corvette with new vessel from Tatarstan.
