russian invading forces drop around a hundred guided bombs daily on Ukrainian troop positions and frontline towns and villages

Ukraine's First Deputy Defense Minister, Lieutenant General Ivan Havryliuk, stated this in an interview with Interfax-Ukraine.

"The Kremlin persists in its large-scale terror campaign against Ukrainians. The enemy is altering its strike tactics, employing various means of destruction in combination to inflict maximum casualties and damage on us! Every day, russian terrorists drop around a hundred guided aerial bombs on our troops' positions and on frontline towns and villages," Havryliuk noted.

He noted that russian terrorists most frequently use guided bombs weighing 250-500 kg.

Ivan Havryliuk pointed out that the russian command is aware that the increasing firepower of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, bolstered by weapon and equipment supplies from partners and the imminent arrival of the first F-16 aircraft, diminishes russia's chances of success on the battlefield.

This is why the aggressor is currently attempting to intensify hostilities in an effort to break through the front line and exhaust Ukrainian troops to the maximum extent.

"To reduce the high activity of enemy aviation and protect our positions, cities, and villages, we need additional air defense systems and aircraft. This would allow us to push enemy aircraft further away from our territories. Consequently, the russians would not have the opportunity to use guided bombs and missiles as actively, especially in the Kharkiv and Donetsk regions and other areas," Lieutenant General stated.
