Operators of the 79th Brigade struck russian BM-21 Grad system near Malynivka, eliminating the launcher before it could open fire on Ukrainian positions

Operators of strike drones from the 79th Brigade successfully neutralized russian BM-21 Grad multiple launch rocket system near Malynivka, east of Myrnohrad.

The Brigade confirmed the operation and released video footage showing the strike in action. According to the report, russian MLRS was fully armed and ready to fire at Ukrainian positions when it was targeted.

Thanks to timely intelligence and the precision work of the Brigade's Perun corps drone operators, the enemy system was detected and destroyed before it could engage.

This strike highlights the growing role of unmanned aerial systems in modern combat, allowing Ukrainian forces to preemptively disrupt artillery threats with minimal risk to personnel.

As Defense Express previously reported, over a three-day period, units of Ukraine's 39th Separate Coastal Defense Brigade, working in coordination with unmanned systems operators, successfully struck two key pieces of russian military equipment.

The targets included russian Strela-10 short-range air defense system and 2S9 Nona-S self-propelled artillery system.
