russian forces showcased the D-1 howitzer, a World War II-era artillery piece that remained in service throughout much of the 20th century. Produced from 1943 to 1949, the D-1 howitzer features a 152 mm barrel capable of firing shells up to 12.4 kilometers (7.7 miles), including high-explosive, fragmentation and armor-piercing.
Weighing 3,600 kilograms, the D-1 howitzer requires a crew of eight and featured a split-trail carriage for stability and quick redeployment. It has a muzzle velocity of 508 meters per second and can fire up to 3 rounds per minute.
