In a recent operation, the NEMESIS 412th Separate Battalion successfully destroyed russian 2S3 Akatsiya self-propelled artillery system. This operation is a clear demonstration of the battalion’s strategic capabilities, blending advanced military technology with the exceptional expertise of its pilots.
The Akatsiya system was produced between 1967 and 1993 and remains in service with the russian federation, with fewer than 300 units as of 2022. It is equipped with the D-22 howitzer 152 mm and PKT 7.62 mm machine gun. The system has a maximum firing range of 18-24 kilometers and operates with a crew of four soldiers. It is used to destroy and suppress nuclear attack means, artillery, tanks, self-propelled guns, enemy personnel and fortifications.
