The State Emergency Service sappers safely neutralize the bomb in Cherkaska Lozova

The State Emergency Service sappers successfully defused massive 500-kilogram bomb that had fallen into a private yard in the village of Cherkaska Lozova, Kharkiv region. The bomb, which miraculously did not explode upon impact, had struck the wall of a house, causing significant damage and embedding itself deeply into the ground.

The experts carefully extracted the unexploded ordinance and transported it to a designated detonation site. Due to the immense explosive power of the KAB-500 bomb and the possibility of russian forces upgrading the munition by installing additional detonators, the operation was highly dangerous.
