After a successful strike on strategic aviation at the Olenya air base in the Murmansk region, russia is attempting to bolster its air defense at similar sites using both equipment and improvised means, according to Andriy Yusov, a spokesperson of the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
Andriy Yusov revealed that there are requests to strengthen air defense, specifically with the Pantsir anti-aircraft missile and gun systems.

“In general, other methods are actively used, including rubber devices to protect fighters and strategic aviation. Specifically, we are talking about tires. This is how they protect and plan to increase these improvised means – things that can be done without any high modern technologies,” Andriy Yusov said.
