During the night of June 24, russia launched a missile strike on the territory of Ukraine using air-launched cruise missiles from Tu-95MS and Tu-22M3 bombers, sea-launched Kalibr missiles and Shahed-136/131strike drones.

Strategic aviation aircraft, totaling 10 units, launched 40 Kh-101/Kh-555 cruise missiles from the Caspian Sea.

8 long-range Tu-22M3 bombers carried out strikes with 9 Kh-22 missiles from the north, south and east directions. From the Black Sea waters, the occupants launched 2 Kalibr cruise missiles.

From the south, the enemy attacked with 2 Iranian Shahed-136/131strike drones.

As a result of the combat operations by the air defense forces, all 40 Kh-101/Kh-555 cruise missiles, 1 Kalibr cruise missile and 2 Shahed-136/131 strike drones were successfully shot down.

Anti-aircraft missile troops, aviation units and mobile fire groups of the Center, South and East Air Commands of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were involved in repelling the air attack.
