The russian occupiers launched a missile from an aircraft at a civilian ship flying the flag of Liberia, which was entering a port in the Odesa region on Wednesday, November 8

That is according to the Defense Forces of Southern Ukraine reported on Telegram.

"Continuing the terror of civilian shipping, the enemy insidiously hit a Kh-31P anti-radar missile in the direction of one of the ports of Odesa from tactical aviation aircraft in the Black Sea. The missile hit the superstructure of a civilian vessel flying the flag of Liberia at the moment of its entry into the port," the message reads.

According to the defense forces, three crew members, citizens of the Philippines, were injured. One of them was hospitalized.

"The port pilot was killed, another port worker was injured. russia has once again confirmed its status as a terrorist country of international scale," the post reads.

The published photos show that the ship's interior is damaged.

On 17 July, Russia has withdrawn from the Black Sea Grain Initiative (BSGI) and started attacking Ukrainian ports storing grain intended for export.

Russia’s blockade of Ukraine’s food export by sea directly threatens global food security, putting under severe risk countries that are particularly dependent on Ukrainian agricultural products. We call on all countries, especially those in Africa and Asia, which are most affected by rising food prices, to take joint global actions against Russia’s food terrorism.
