Ukraine has announced its plans to increase production of drones of various ranges. This may make explosions on the territory of the aggressor country a common occurrence

Over the past few days, a number of facilities on the territory of the russian federation have been attacked by long-range attack drones. For instance, it is known that on January 19, 2024, Ukrainian drones attacked facilities in the town of Klintsy, Bryansk Oblast, russia. An aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicle was allegedly suppressed by russian electronic warfare.

The governor of Bryansk Oblast, Aleksandr Bogomaz, said that, a munition had dropped on the territory of the oil depot in Klintsy while the air target was being destroyed.

According to the governor, this was a reason why four oil tanks caught fire at once.

More than 140 people along with the head of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in Bryansk Oblast Vadim Uvarkin, were involved in extinguishing of such a large-scale fire.

In addition, another drone attack was reported, which had been supposedly repelled by russian air defense above the Poharsky and Unechsky districts of the town. russians claimed that there were no casualties or damages as well as emergency services were working at location.

At the same time, long-range strike drones attacked the Tambov Gunpowder Plant in Tambov Oblast, russia.

According to media reports, the strikes on these two russian facilities were carried out as part of a special operation by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

Analyzing the distance it can be concluded that drones of various ranges were used against targets in russia. The distance to the Tambov Gunpowder Plant is about 370-380 kilometers as well as the town of Klintsy is less than in 50 kilimeters from the Ukrainian border.

At the same time, it is worth to be mentioned that on January 18, 2024, the Leningrad Oblast was attacked by drones with a range of 1250 kilometrs. This was reported by the Minister of Strategic Industries of Ukraine Oleksandr Kamyshin.

The Defence Intelligence of Ukraine reported that it was also its special operation, so now military facilities in St. Petersburg as well as in Leningrad Oblast are within the range of Ukrainian Forces.
