In Kharkiv region, russian forces attempted to reinforce their grouping on the right bank of the Oskil River by crossing the waterway using infantry fighting vehicles (BMPs) with motorcycles strapped to their roofs

Although the occupiers previously managed to reach the right bank, they have been unable to advance due to constant Ukrainian strikes. This time, the invaders decided to ferry not only personnel but also equipment — specifically, BMPs and motorcycles.

"There have already been reports of multiple failed attempts to cross the river, but the orcs "don’t give up." Once again, three russian BMPs decided to tempt fate and tried to make it across the Oskil. One was hit before even reaching the riverbank, while another turned into a floating coffin — its crew will now feed the fish," analysts at DeepState reported.

They noted the unusual way the invaders conducted the river crossing — hauling motorcycles onto the roofs of their BMPs.

"We’re waiting for an official excuse from the orcs, something like: ‘The russian MoD has launched the Oskil River Flotilla. Featured on this video — the flagship of our navy, the corvette Orcanik."

According to DeepState, the russian attempt to force the Oskil was thwarted by Ukraine’s 5th Separate Slobozhansk Brigade of the Ukrainian National Guard, the 151st Separate Mechanized Brigade, and the 429th Achilles Separate Unmanned Aerial Systems Regiment.

Previously, Defense Express reported that russian forces are carving out a dead zone along the right bank of the Dnipro River, in preparation for a potential ground assault.
