In its ninth aid package, the Italian government intends to deliver a batch of long-range Storm Shadow cruise missiles to Ukraine, according to a report by Il Fatto Quotidiano, citing informed sources.
This decision marks a shift in the stance of Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni’s government. During the election campaign, the Prime Minister did not announce such deliveries due to the topic’s unpopularity among the public. The Ministry of Defense of Italy has not yet issued a comment on this information.
