This development is already actively undergoing testing, the first of which took place on October 6, 2023, but for the first time its full image was officially revealed only on November 16, 2024 after conducting fully successful tests. But now there's an opportunity to examine the missile better.

LRAshM is a two-stage solid-fuel missile with estimated weight up to 29 tons, total length of 14 meters and diameter of 1.4 meters. Declared flight range is 1,500 km. Warhead weight was not announced, but is estimated at 350 kg.
For showing the missile, the transport-launch container was even cut approximately in half. Also, the missile's wings were deployed, although they should fold. Overall, this is nothing strange, because very often in India they even put fake cones on TPCs.
LRAshM development is characterized by certain pragmatic decisions aimed at accelerating development. Specifically, the missile's first stage was created based on Sagarika submarine-launched ballistic missile (also known under indexes K-15 and B-05), which has range up to 750 km.
But the seeker head, as Indian sources assume, is borrowed from Brahmos, russian Onyx, which is assembled in India under localization conditions.
That is, russia wasn't avoided in LRAshM development, but the missile itself is precisely India's answer to the Kremlin for its proposals to sell Delhi its Tsirkon under the name Brahmos 2 on similar cooperation terms. Also, based on LRAshM, development of which is not completed despite demonstration at parade, India is already working on new ET-LDHCM (Extended Trajectory Long Duration Hypersonic Cruise Missile) hypersonic missile.

Regarding it, its main difference from LRAshM should be a very large warhead weighing 1-2 tons, as well as unprecedented maneuverability.
