Ukrainian forces have demonstrated another practical use of unmanned ground systems on the battlefield, successfully employing robotic platforms to evacuate wounded soldiers from a dangerous combat zone.
The operation was carried out by operators of the Chibis and Graf ground robotic systems from Ukraine's 61st Brigade.

Footage released by the brigade on July 29 shows the robotic systems completing a difficult evacuation mission under combat conditions.
According to the unit, the operators successfully extracted three wounded servicemen, reducing the need to expose additional personnel to enemy fire during the rescue.
Battlefield evacuations remain among the most dangerous tasks in modern warfare. Reaching injured soldiers often requires crossing areas covered by artillery, drones, and small-arms fire, making every second critical.
By deploying unmanned ground vehicles, Ukrainian forces can significantly reduce the risks faced by evacuation teams while maintaining a rapid response.
The brigade emphasized that the success of the mission relied not only on advanced equipment but also on the professionalism and coordination of the operators.
Precise control of the robotic platforms allowed the wounded soldiers to be safely transported despite the challenging battlefield environment.
