This includes orders for effective TRML-4D radars, as well as other ones

The Hensoldt defense corporation has recently issued a press release saying that it had received orders worth "well over one billion dollars" in the first half of 2024.

"We continued to fill our order book in the first half of the year and are thus continuing our growth trajectory," HENSOLDT CFO Christian Ladurner stated.

It should be noted that Hensoldt also supplies weapons to Ukraine. In particular, in June this year, it was announced that a new batch of AMPS (Airborne Missile Protection System) would be delivered to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. They are designed to protect helicopters from missile threats. The order amount reached the range of "double-digit millions".

Hensoldt also supplies Ukraine with its well-known TRML-4D radars. The first of them was received by the Defense Forces of Ukraine in October 2012. According to the list of defense aid donated by the German government, Ukraine has received 11 such radars. It is known three more should be received.

In addition, Hensoldt notes that it has an order from Diehl Defense for €100 million to supply these radars to Latvia and Slovenia as part of the European Air Shield Initiative, also known as ESSI. The company has orders for more than 80 radars for this project.

The company is to supply Spexer radars for Skyranger 30 anti-aircraft tanks as part of €100 million order from Rheinmetall Air Defense.

There is also an order worth €300 million for the LVS NNbS short-range anti-aircraft missile system project. This became known in 2021.

Earlier Defense Express reported that the British military was training Ukrainian soldiers to use Starstreak SAM system.
