November 17 at night, Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles attacked military facilities in russia. Open-source intelligence analysts from the Dnipro Osint ⟨Harbuz⟩ community on Telegram ascertained that the drones hit a workshop of a defense production plant in Izhevsk, namely building No. 14, as evidenced by photos available on the web.
This plant is located more than 1,250 km from the border with Ukraine. Videos found online depict the likely weapon used in this aerial attack: the A-22 Foxbat ultralight aircraft from Aeroprakt converted into a UAV.

The russian media ASTRA quotes locals complaining about Izhevsk factories which "make drones in the middle of the city," and claiming that it was the drone assembly workshop that came under attack.
There is no credible data to verify these reports, however, so we should also remind there is one more important military facility situated nearby — the Kupol Electromechanical Plant, it produces new Tor surface-to-air missile systems and provides maintenance to Osa SAM systems.
Additionally, reports from Western media indicate that at this very plant, the russians had produced about 2,500 Garpiya-A1 long-range drones from July 2023 to July 2024, a product name that could be referring to a variety of the Shahed-136 loitering munition.
Besides, according to a 2023 study from Molfar OSINT agency, out of total five shopping and entertainment centers that russians had repurposed for drone production facilities, four were located in Izhevsk.
