For the first time in a while, the United States announced a major military aid package for Ukraine, amounting to $1 billion. Earlier Defense Express described the nomenclature of this package. We can say that it is a historical event because regular supplies of weapons and equipment from the United States resumed after a break of almost six months.
Nevertheless we will analyze some interesting points in the list of aid from the United States. Because there are hints that Americans are not just resuming military support for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, but may even be deepening assistance in certain points.

Of course, everyone wants to know whether the United States is really providing the MGM-140 ATACMS ballistic missiles in this aid package, and whether it is a version with a range of 300 kilometers (i.e., under the M57 index). Moreover, this issue is now being regularly stirred up by some Western media with their publications.
In fact, we can pay attention to the item "additional ammunition for HIMARS". Practice shows that sometimes the ATACMS missiles may be behind this, which is officially considered just one type of ammunition for HIMARS (and M270 MLRS).
The next little-noticed, but very important point in this list to pay attention to another interesting thing. The list of aid from the White House also includes "airfield support equipment."
It is unlikely that the United States is lending its airfield vehicles to service Soviet-made aircraft. Therefore, perhaps this point about the transfer of "airfield support equipment" is also a "spoiler" that allows us to hope for a relatively close delivery of a certain number of F-16 aircraft to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Perhaps the same "spoiler" is the indication that this aid package also includes "precision aerial munitions."
If we talk about air defense as one of the most sensitive issues for Ukraine, we should pay attention not only to the fact that RIM-7 and AIM-9M missiles were transferred for anti-aircraft systems under the FrankenSAM project, but also to the announced provision of 12.7 mm anti-aircraft machine guns and ammunition for them.
In other words, this segment should at least strengthen Ukraine's capabilities to combat long-range kamikaze drones and subsonic cruise missiles, including the Kh-69 that destroyed the TrypilskaTPP.
Earlier Defense Express reported about capabilities of the Paveway IV bombs that Britain was allegedly planning to supply Ukraine.
