As noted, the Defense Ministry considered remarks and results of the analysis of the efficiency of subordinate state-owned enterprises, which was conducted by public organizations, as well as studied the foreign experience of managing military enterprises. In addition, the forecast of the future security environment was taken into account in order to ensure the functioning and development of those state-owned enterprises that will meet both current needs and future challenges.
The press service stressed that the enterprises planned for reorganization are important for the Defense Ministry, as they are able to work efficiently and effectively for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The Defense Ministry also reminded that 15 of the ministry’s enterprises are located in the temporarily occupied territory in Crimea.
