This decision comes as part of Canada’s broader, long-term military support package for Ukraine, amounting to a substantial $483 million, which includes the provision of 50 armored vehicles.

“The government will send F-16 trainers for pilots and for maintenance, so Ukrainians are able to maximize their use of donated fighter jets,” Justin Trudeau said.
