The Khortytsia operational-strategic grouping of the Ukrainian Ground Forces captured a large number of russian occupiers

The Defenders of Ukraine captured about 60 russian occupiers near Vovchansk in Kharkiv Oblast. This was reported to LIGA.net by the spokesman of the Khortytsia operational-strategic grouping Nazar Voloshyn.

The incident took place on June 2. But fighting is still ongoing in the city.

On the same day, Voloshyn reported that Ukrainian troops had controlled most of the city, which is about 70%. At the same time fierce fighting is taking place in the city and on the outskirts.

He also claimed that russian invaders had become more active in this area. The battle near Lyptsi village continues as well as the Defenders of Ukraine continue to build up their defense capabilities.

Earlier Defense Express reported that Ukrainian Special Operations Forces operators had hit rare russian Kasta-2E2 radar.
