The russian federation is actively trying to destroy at least one American missile system in Ukraine

For the second time this week, the Security Service of Ukraine reports on successful work on detaining "hunters" for HIMARS missile systems in Ukraine.

Thus, on August 24, the SBU reported that an agent of the Main Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the russian federation (GRU) was detained in Mykolaiv Oblast. He was recruited by one of the employees of the russian military intelligence after the beginning of the full-scale invasion.

The traitor collected data on the deployment, movement and armament of the Armed Forces of Unkraine in the southern direction, the main task of the agent was to find and transmit data on the combat positions of the HIMARS missile systems to the russian occupiers.

At the same time, a little earlier, on August 22, the Security Service of Ukraine reported that two informants-correctors of missile strikes had been detained in the front-line areas of Donetsk region. They were also supposed to provide the enemy with data on HIMARS combat positions.

Also, these informants collected data on local critical infrastructure facilities: it is noted that it was based on the information of these adjusters that the occupiers fired at the water intake system in the city of Selydove.
