It should be noted that the S-300V4 is a very rare mobile surface-to air system in the russian federation. The exact number of them in the enemy Armed Forces is unknown - according to information circulating in open sources, there are only two to four divisions for the entire country. It is known that the russian military leadership previously planned to form only one S-300V4 air defense brigade in each military district. In total, the russian federation used to have four, and now there are five military districts.

It is known that the first S-300V4 surface-to air systems were received in 2015 by the newly created 77th Air defense brigade (Korenovsk) in the Southern Military District. But despite the statement about complete rearmament in 2014, the Ministry of Defense of the russian federation noted that a "brigade kit" consisting of three batteries (each with six launchers, one missile guidance station and support vehicles) was handed over. At the same time, it is known that the divisional kit also includes one command post and two circular and program survey radars. Thus, it can be concluded that it is unlikely that the declared rearmament of this brigade was complete.
In addition, the newly created 38th Air defense brigade (Eastern Military District) received the S-300V4 brigade air defense system kit. However, in the video with the transfer of equipment, only 12 launchers got into the frame, and this number is clearly not enough for a full brigade set.
It should be noted that the plans of the russian military leadership for 2023 included the rearming of one of the brigades of the Western Military District. It is likely that the Air defense brigades in the russian federation will currently receive only 1-1.5 divisions of S-300V4 SAM systems, despite the fact that in the period from 2011 to 2020, they planed to transfer nine brigade sets of these surface-to air systems to the troops. Such a slow rate of rearmament for the S-300V4 SAM system is explained by the fact that this system is much more expensive than the S-400 SAM system. It should be noted that the S-300V, despite the similar index to the S-300, is actually a different system that was developed in the USSR as a means of anti-ballistic missile defense for the ground forces.
The S-300V4 is armed with modernized Soviet anti-aircraft missiles 9М82МV and 9М83М with a declared range of interception of aerodynamic targets up to 400 km and up to 200 km, respectively.
It is also declared that the S-300V4 integrates 48N6DM and 40N6 missiles with a range of up to 250 km and 400 km, respectively, which are used in the S-400 SAM system.
Thus, the destruction of each S-300V4 SAM system is a more than significant loss for the russian federation, which they cannot replenish. Moreover, according to unconfirmed information, the russians removed the S-300V systems from the occupied Japanese islands of the Kuril ridge, as it turned out later, it was precisely the S-300V4 of the 38th Air defense brigade.
