This is indicated by the specified requirements for the grenade, which describe it in particular: 400 grams weight, the possibility of conversion from defensive grenade to offensive One due to an additional plastic body, which should contain at least 3500 fragments in the form of 2 mm steel balls.

That is, the tender simply describes the Alhambra D/O (M2), as reported by Infodefensa, which has studied the procurement documentation in detail.

On the part of Defense Express, we note that such a purchase allows us to answer the question: how much does an ordinary modern hand grenade cost now - 129.4 euros per unit (ap. $138). This price is indicative, as we are talking about tender requirements but not a contract, while the difference with the final price is unlikely to be very significant.

It should also be noted that the Alhambra D/O (M2) grenade by Instalaza belongs to the truly modern hand grenades. Although it seems very difficult to invent something new for this simple and well-known ammunition, the Spaniards succeeded. Because this grenade is the only one in the world with a mechanical-electronic detonator.
