The Defense Intelligence of Ukraine carried out another masterful operation in the Black Sea, demonstrating the growing reach and effectiveness of Ukraine's special operations forces. Exclusive footage published on DIU's social media shows combat divers and special units at sea engaging russian targets with precision drone strikes.

The operation was conducted by the DIU's Active Operations Department, a specialized branch tasked with offensive raids and sabotage missions. Ukrainian commandos used FPV drones and other combat UAVs to target a variety of russian military equipment deployed in temporarily occupied areas of the Black Sea.

Among the confirmed destroyed targets were a russian BL-680 type patrol boat, a Harpoon-B radar system, and a Groza electronic warfare station. These assets used to play an important role in russia's coastal defense network, providing both early warning capabilities and electronic countermeasures against Ukrainian drones and missiles. Their elimination should weaken russia's situational awareness and air defense posture in the region.

In addition to these key systems, Ukrainian forces also destroyed four russian antenna-feeder devices. While smaller in scale, these elements form a critical part of communication and radar infrastructure, and their loss further complicates russian command and control along the Black Sea coastline.

Beyond equipment losses, russia also suffered personnel casualties as a result of the strikes. The extent of manpower losses has not been officially disclosed, but the Defense Intelligence emphasizes that the raid had a tangible impact on russian operational capacity.

This operation continues Ukraine's broader campaign of striking russian positions in Crimea and the Black Sea. In recent months, Ukrainian forces have increasingly relied on unmanned systems to level the playing field against russia's larger navy, targeting not only ships but also radars, air defense systems, and logistics infrastructure.

As Defense Express previously reported, the Ukrainian defense sector continues to demonstrate rapid innovation in unmanned systems, with the introduction of the Hara strike-reconnaissance UAV. This platform is currently deployed by the Khyzhak Brigade, providing new capabilities for both surveillance and offensive operations.

According to available information, the Hara drone has a flight range of up to 50 kilometers, which makes it suitable for medium-range missions such as deep reconnaissance, target designation, and precision strikes.
