Ukrainian Warriors Repel Enemy Assault, Destroying Over 10 Armored Vehicles

The occupiers attempted to capture Ukrainian positions in two consecutive assaults but lost more than 10 pieces of equipment and personnel

Servicemembers of the 110th Mechanized Brigade named after General-Cornet Marko Bezruchko repelled an assault by russian occupiers who advanced toward Ukrainian defenders' positions in two armored columns. This was reported by the press service of the Operational and Strategic Grouping of Troops (OSUV) Khortytsia.

"On the Novopavlivka axis, infantry troops repelled an assault by the occupiers advancing in two armored columns. The enemy attempted to break through our defenses in the area of responsibility of the warriors of the 110th Mechanized Brigade. However, another attempt resulted in the loss of 10 pieces of equipment over the course of two assaults," the statement said.

OSUV Khortytsia clarified that the occupiers used armored vehicles to transport their assault groups and breach defensive fortifications, but both the vehicles and their airborne troops were successfully targeted.

During the repelled attack, the following were destroyed:

  • Tanks
  • Infantry fighting vehicles (IFVs)
  • Armored personnel carriers (APCs)
  • MT-LBs
  • Armored combat vehicles

"The damaged armored vehicles and the remaining enemy troops who managed to dismount were eliminated by artillery fire and FPV drone strikes. The enemy assault was repelled, and no loss of positions or deterioration of the tactical situation was allowed," OSUV Khortytsia emphasized.
