Ukrainian fighters from the Alter Ego unit of the 93rd Brigade have conducted their first logistics mission using an amphibious unmanned ground vehicle, according to Ukraine's Ministry of Defense.
The ministry published footage showing the robotic platform carrying out the mission and navigating a route of more than 40 kilometers. The system was used to deliver ammunition and supplies to a frontline position.

The amphibious UGV retained the high off-road mobility of a conventional ground robotic platform while operating on land. When reaching a water obstacle, it could switch to amphibious mode within seconds and continue moving across the water.
This capability is particularly relevant for frontline logistics, where rivers, flooded areas, and other water obstacles can complicate or prevent the use of conventional ground transport. An amphibious platform can potentially maintain a supply route without requiring troops to establish a separate crossing.
According to the Ministry of Defense, the mission was preceded by several months of cooperation between the developers and military personnel. The UGV was adapted to the terrain and the day-to-day logistical requirements encountered by the unit.
During the mission, the robotic vehicle successfully transported both ammunition and provisions to the position.
