On October 7, russia launched a missile attack on Kyiv using its Kinzhal missiles. The MIM-104 Patriot surface-to-air missile system successfully intercepted these missiles, a moment captured on video and shared online by Yurii Mysiahin.
Following the interception, debris from the destroyed missiles fell in three Kyiv districts: Solomianskyi, Shevchenkivskyi, and Holosiivskyi. Although some property was damaged, including three cars, the roof of a residential building, and a supermarket, no casualties were reported. The majority of the missile fragments landed in open areas.
