Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that Ukrainian FP-5 Flamingo long-range missiles successfully struck russia's Titan-Barrikady defense enterprise in the city of Volgograd during a nighttime operation.
According to Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the facility is a major military-industrial complex that manufactures artillery systems, specialized military equipment, and components for missile launch systems used in attacks against Ukraine. He described every russian defense facility supporting the war effort as a legitimate target for Ukraine's long-range strikes.

The president said the attack resulted in confirmed hits on the enterprise, followed by a fire on the factory's premises. He praised the precision of the strike and thanked Ukrainian forces for carrying out the operation.
"The geography of Ukrainian long-range sanctions is constantly expanding," Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
He added that sustained pressure on russia's defense industry is helping lay the foundation for peace.
The Titan-Barrikady plant is one of russia's key defense manufacturers, producing heavy artillery systems and equipment for the country's armed forces. It has long been involved in supplying weapons and military hardware for the russian military.
