"The situation has stabilized in the Pokrovsk direction. If we look at the past year and the active phase of the offensive in the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy used assault groups of 20 to 50 people. We destroy group after group, and they send new ones, maximizing their manpower. They suffered heavy losses. It was very difficult to contain such an influx of manpower," Koval explained.

Mykola Koval also emphasized that the enemy is able to move several units to the battlefield, but can no longer conduct almost round-the-clock assaults, as it was last year. Now, russians move in small groups of two or three, then regroup into larger formations to assault the Ukrainian defenses.

Earlier Defense Express reported that Ukraine had deployed new UAS SETH kamikaze drone in combat inspired by the Shahed-136 UAV.
