The Prime unmanned systems unit of Ukraine's State Border Guard Service has destroyed russian 2S1 Gvozdika artillery system and damaged a range of other enemy assets

Ukrainian forces continue targeting russian weapons, vehicles, communications equipment, and positions along the North Slobozhanske axis. A new compilation from the Prime unmanned systems unit was released by Ukraine's State Border Guard Service on September 16.

The footage shows several strikes against russian assets operating in the area. Among the targets was the 2S1 Gvozdika self-propelled artillery system, alongside various vehicles, communications equipment, and enemy shelters.

The 2S1 Gvozdika is a Soviet-designed 122 mm self-propelled howitzer. The system remains in service with russian forces and is used to provide artillery support to units operating near the front.

In addition to the artillery system, Ukrainian drone operators targeted кussian cargo and passenger vehicles. Such vehicles are used to transport personnel and supplies and support the movement of russian forces in the combat area.

The Prime unit also struck enemy communications equipment. Disrupting communications can interfere with the ability of russian units to coordinate their activities and maintain links between positions.

Several russian shelters were also targeted during the operation. The released footage shows the consequences of the strikes against these positions, which the Ukrainian side says can no longer provide protection to russian personnel.
