Footage of the interception was published on the Western Territorial Directorate's Facebook page. According to the National Guard, russian drone posed a threat to one of the important facilities, although its location and the type of facility were not disclosed.

The engagement began during an air raid alert, when the National Guard crew moved to designated positions and used specialized equipment to detect the incoming aerial target.

After identifying the drone, the operators quickly assessed its flight path and launched an interceptor drone to pursue it.

During the chase, russian drone disappeared from view in the clouds. However, Ukrainian operators continued searching for the target rather than abandoning the interception attempt.

The crew eventually reacquired the aerial target and successfully intercepted and destroyed it. The unit did not disclose the type of interceptor drone used.
