The drone was detected within the area of responsibility of the brigade’s anti-aircraft missile and artillery division.
After identifying the target, Ukrainian air defense crew acquired and tracked it before launching a missile from the Stinger system.
The missile struck the drone, destroying it. Following the engagement, the Ukrainian servicemembers confirmed that the intercepted UAV was a jet-powered Shahed.
Unlike conventional propeller-driven Shahed drones, jet-powered variants use jet propulsion. This makes their interception an important task for Ukrainian air defense units.
