On September 27 and overnight into September 28, Ukrainian forces struck a range of russian military targets, including the Pantsir-S2 air defense system, UAV command and launch facilities, ammunition depots and a repair unit, according to Ukraine's General Staff.
In Bryansk region of russia, Ukrainian forces reportedly struck russian Pantsir-S2 surface-to-air missile and gun system near the settlement of Seltso. The system is designed to provide short-range air defense against aircraft, helicopters, precision-guided weapons and drones.

Several UAV-related facilities were also targeted. In Vynohradivka, Zaporizhzhia region, Ukrainian forces struck a command post for russian UAV operations and a temporary deployment site of an enemy UAV unit.
Another strike hit a facility in Donetsk used for the storage, preparation and launch of russian attack drones. According to the General Staff, targeting such facilities is intended to reduce the intensity of russian drone operations.
The General Staff also reported strikes on other russian military infrastructure in temporarily occupied Ukrainian territory. In Mariupol, Ukrainian forces hit russian repair unit, while ammunition depots were struck in Makiivka and Ustynivka.
A logistics depot was also targeted in Nikolske. The reported strikes therefore covered several categories of military infrastructure, including air defense, UAV operations, maintenance and supply.
