Ukraine has taken another significant step in bolstering its defense capabilities with the arrival of the second batch of modern F-16 fighter jets from Denmark. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced this development on December 7, praising Denmark’s leadership and decisive support in protecting Ukrainian lives.
“The second batch of the F-16 aircraft for Ukraine from Denmark has already arrived,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy said. “This is leadership in protecting lives, which distinguishes Denmark. The aircraft provided by the Danes in the first batch are already shooting down russian missiles and saving our people and infrastructure. Now, our air shield is further strengthened.”

The first batch of F-16aircraft from Copenhagen has already proven effective in Ukrainian skies, playing a crucial role in countering russian missile attacks and safeguarding critical infrastructure. Volodymyr Zelenskyy also extended his gratitude to Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen, emphasizing that if all international partners demonstrated similar resolve, it would have been possible to put an end to russian terror sooner.
