Valeriy Zaluzhny posted the statement on its official page on Facebook.
"During the full-scale aggression, the defenders of Ukraine destroyed twice as many Russian aircraft as the Soviet Union lost during the ten years of the war in Afghanistan, some 278 Russian aircraft in Ukraine against 118 Soviet aircraft in Afghanistan" the statement reads.

Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine also is convinced that russia’s full-scale aggression against Ukraine will lead the country to collapse.
“This war is the same shame for Russia and will cause it destruction," Valeriy Zaluzhny noted.
Defense Express reported, that russians are facing non-stop military losses on Ukrainian soil. About 74000 agressor's troops eliminated, 2 374 air targets of invaders were shot down, thousands of tanks, armored vehicles and tracks were destroyed by defenders of Ukraine between February 24 and November 3, 2022.
