Facing heavy losses, russia pulls in fresh troops from previously untouched regions

To address the significant losses suffered by russian occupation forces during combat operations in Ukraine and to bolster new military units, Moscow is deploying personnel from the Pacific Fleet of the russian federation and the 11th Army of the Air Force and Air Defense, the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine reports.

These military units, previously uninvolved in direct combat operations against Ukraine, are now being mobilized. Under the directive of Viktor Liina, commander of the Pacific Fleet of the russian federation, rotations to Syria have been halted. Instead, all personnel, including 2,000 military personnel from Primorsky and Kamchatka regions, are being sent to the active combat zone in Ukraine.

These brigades are currently engaged in combat operations against Ukraine and are facing staffing shortages due to significant losses.

In addition to these deployments, a portion of personnel from the russian Far East military formations will join a newly formed motorized rifle brigade in Voronezh, further augmenting the military capabilities of the aggressor state.
