Leveraging cutting-edge unmanned systems, the 59th Brigade inflicted heavy losses on russian forces, showcasing the future of warfare

In February, the Stepovi Khyzhaky of the 59th Separate Assault Brigade of the Unmanned Systems Forces inflicted significant losses on russian forces, eliminating 1,574 invaders, including 810 irrecoverable losses and 764 sanitary losses. Their precision strikes also destroyed nine T-72 tanks, three artillery systems, one BMP-2 vehicle, the Tigr armored vehicle, and over 60 other enemy vehicles, ATVs, motorcycles, and buggies.

Demonstrating dominance in aerial combat, the Brigade took down 11 enemy drones, including the Lancet, Zala, Molniya, and Orlan UAVs, while their electronic warfare units suppressed 1,016 enemy UAVs, disrupting reconnaissance and strike operations.

Having officially joined the Unmanned Systems Forces in January 2025, the 59th Brigade is rapidly advancing its capabilities with unmanned aerial and ground robotic systems. This technological evolution enhances battlefield effectiveness and improves the safety of its personnel, solidifying the Brigade’s role as a cutting-edge force in modern warfare.
