Ukrainian Special Operations Forces continue demonstrating the results of proficient reconnaissance in the enemy rear and coordination with artillery by destroying three BM-21 Grad rocket systems

The episode took place near Bakmut city in eastern Ukraine, date and time undisclosed. Soldiers of the Ukrainian Special Operations Forces have destroyed three russian BM-21 Grad multiple launch rocket systems. The SOF press service shares the details.

One of the SOF units infiltrated russian rear for a special reconnaissance mission and detected the enemy rocket launchers. The coordinates were quickly relayed to the artillery teams, and all three vehicles got struck.

From the video, we can assume that the MLRS were hit with smart precision-guided projectiles. The press service reports that crews were killed together with the vehicles. We can also see rockets being launched involuntarily and exploding as a result of the systems caught up on fire.

According to the Oryx OSINT community, Ukrainian forces have destroyed at least 135 (including these three) russian BM-21 Grad systems since February 2022.

Earlier Defense Express highlighted the strikes by HIMARS that led to the destruction of four russian Msta-S howitzers. This case showcased what happens when the American rocket system starts playing the role it was designed for.
