The Ukrainian Defense Forces have carried out a series of successful strikes on a military industry plant in russia

Several repeated long-range attacks on the JSC Strela plant in the russian federation have brought results: the Ukrainian forces have effectively destroyed the facility after the initial strike on workshops and warehouses in fall 2024 and the final blow on April 4, 2025.

The CyberBoroshno OSINT community published satellite images showcasing the devastating results of these strikes. The group's analysts say the main production buildings and warehouses were put out of working order.

Defense Express clarifies that the JSC Strela in question, located in the settlement of Suzemka, Bryansk region should not be confused with the Production Association Strela in Orenburg. The destroyed enterprise is situated about 9 to 10 km from the Ukrainian border. The weapons used for these strikes are unknown but it was most likely standoff air bombs.

Public information indicates that JSC Strela supplies its products — such as transformers, chokes, autotransformers with smooth regulation of voltage, inductors, filters, etc — to russian arms manufacturers. In particular, it actively cooperated with the Rostec corporation and partnered with the JSC All-russian Research Institute of Radio Engineering.

Important to note, before these strikes, JSC Strela was working without noticeable interruptions despite such proximity to Ukraine's borders. In April 2025, the Interactive Portal of the Department of Social Policy and Employment of the Bryansk Region listed several job vacancies at this enterprise, seeking engineers, installers, and other specialists.
